Nunavut

The capital of Nunavut is Iqaluit, a city located on Baffin Island, which is separated from the northwest and besides the northwest and Yukon. It covers an area of 2.093 million km2, accounting for about 1/5th of all of Canada. The population is about 387,800, scattered across 28 residential areas, of which 78% are the Inuit people. Baffin Island is the largest island in the region, with the highest point at the east of Iqatluit. The largest lake in the territory is Dupont Lake, and the northernmost town is Akint. Being the 5th largest island in the world, Baffin Island attracts tourists from all over the world with its amazing scenery and hospitable Inuit people.
